MSSE Student Association

The mission of the Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship Student Association (MSSE SA) is to advocate on behalf of MSSE students in order to enhance the student experience. 

This includes improving students’ academic, professional, and social experience during their time here at USC Marshall. Some of the MSSE SA initiatives include:

  • MSSE Mentorship Program between first-year and second-year MSSE students that was piloted in June 2020
  • Wide array of events and programming such as pitch days, networking events, competition prep, tailgates, holiday parties, and career panels
  • MSSE SA Resource Center platform where both students and alumni can find tools and resources as founders, social entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, or investors 
  • Alumni Spotlight to feature alumni stories and foster student-alumni engagement
  • Personal and professional development workshops focusing on anti-racism, anti-Blackness, career development, and more
  • Collaboration with USC Marshall FTMBA and PM students on justice and equity programming
  • Weekly drop-in hours hosted by MSSE SA for students and alumni
  • Weekly newsletter to update students and alumni on MSSE events and initiatives
