Fall 2023 Application Dates & Deadlines
- Application opens: October 1, 2022
- Classes begin: August 21, 2023
- Orientation: Mid-August, 2023
- Round 1 – November 15, 2022
- Round 2 – January 15, 2023
- Round 3 – February 15, 2023
- Round 4 – March 15, 2023
- Round 5 – April 15, 2023 (International Student Deadline)
- Round 6 – Rolling Admissions until Fall 2023 Cohort is full or the final deadline of May 15 passes*.
Notes: It usually takes up to 6 weeks for the admission decision to be released and sent via email, after each round of deadline. Applications won’t be reviewed until all of the required documents are received. See Application Process to learn about all required admissions documents.
No international student applications will be accepted after April 15, 2023, due to immigration requirements and timelines.
*We will continue to accept applications after April 15, 2023, until the final deadline of May 15, 2023, for students who don't need a student visa. Applications received after this date will be considered on a first-come, first-served, and space-available basis. The applications will not be reviewed once the class is full. All applicants should plan to apply before April 15, to ensure the application is reviewed.
To Qualify for Admission to the Program
Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a 4-year U.S. bachelor's degree with a competitive GPA. Please see here for degree requirements by country. All applicants must also have completed at least one statistics course at the undergraduate level or above, with no exceptions. A few years of work experience is preferred, but not required.
GMAT/GRE: The Marshall MSBA Program no longer requires or accepts the GMAT/GRE.
TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores meeting the following requirements are required for international students unless qualifying for the language test waiver found here:
- Test taken within the last two years of the start of the school semester
- TOEFL: 100 or above, with 20 or above in each section
- IELTS: 7 or above, with 6 or above on each band
Progressive Degree Program
The Progressive Degree Program (PDP) enables superior USC undergraduate students to apply undergraduate coursework toward the completion of a USC master’s degree. Please review here for information about USC Progressive Degree Program. MSBA program accepts PDP applications for Fall 2023 starting October 1, 2022. Please see the admission requirements, application process and course plan below. Each student will meet with the MSBA academic advisor to revise and customize the course plan once recommended by the MSBA committee to move forward.
Note: Progressive Degree Program (PDP) is only available to current USC undergraduate students.
