The IBEAR MBA Program has long incorporated real-world business consulting projects as a key part of its MBA learning experience.
With hundreds of projects successfully completed on business issues around the world, the IBEAR MBA Program has deep experience and a wide network of contacts to produce outstanding learning opportunities for IBEAR MBA students and excellent consulting reports for sponsor companies.
The International Business Consulting course will:
- Teach students rigorous, fact-based, business problem-solving and critical thinking techniques that can be applied to any business decision-making
- Train students to be excellent consumers and providers of management consulting services
- Connect students with senior executives in IBCP sponsor firms
The projects are offered once a year, beginning in January, with reports delivered to sponsors by the beginning of May.
Students are assigned to a 4-5 person cross-cultural team. The team will work closely with the client throughout the period. Each team will conduct 30-40 in-depth interviews with experts, customers, suppliers and others, as needed.
Our experience is that IBCP's teaching of management consulting practices enables IBEAR MBA graduates to develop life-long critical thinking skills. They all become smart consumers of consulting services and some become excellent consultants in firms like BCG, KPMG, McKinsey, PwC, etc.
Our project results routinely get adopted by our clients, becoming part of their global strategic positioning and execution. IBCP clients have successfully executed IBCP recommendations for market entry strategies, new product introductions, acquisitions, supply-chain structuring, etc.
The IBEAR MBA Program has successfully delivered over 350 consulting projects. Listed below are examples of some of the companies IBEAR MBA students have worked with.
