What are your areas of interest at USC and Marshall?
Finance and Music Industry
What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
The people. Everyone I met when touring schools from the staff and the students had a real passion for being here. It was the kind of passion that felt genuine, that felt like the people here really loved what they were doing and learning.
What advice do you wish you had known while applying to college?
Never settle on a school before you go and visit. There are a lot of schools that I counted out before I even visited, and after I did, I ended up completely changing my mind.
What are your USC activities/general hobbies?
I love to produce music in my free time and am a member of the Greek system, a member of Marshall Student Ambassadors, and a mentor for the Trojan Investment Society.
Why do you love Los Angeles?
Los Angeles to me is home. I was born here and lived here for 12 years, so being back is really comforting. I also have a ton of family out here and being close to my family has always been one of my biggest priorities. On top of that, I am someone who hates to stand still. I always love occupying my free time doing something other than sitting at home watching TV, and in LA there is no shortage of fun things to do and explore.
What global experiences have you taken part in at USC? Please list all Marshall International Trips you have attended, include program name(s) and location(s)
I was briefly a member of the LINC program for freshman and got to attend a few classes where we learned about business in New Zealand, however that program was cut short due to COVID.
What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
I am a member and mentor for the Trojan Investment Society, and through that program I was able to land an incredible internship for this upcoming summer as an Investment Banking intern.
What is your favorite USC Marshall Class and why?
My favorite USC Marshall class is BUAD 302. I have an incredible professor, Professor Clark Hansen, who has really helped my presenting skills. In terms of soft skills, this is the class at USC that has really helped me come out of my shell and develop the most.
