What are your areas of interest at USC and Marshall?
Marketing, Music Industry, Entertainment Industry, Entrepreneurship

What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
Being the daughter of a Trojan alumni, I have always felt a strong bond with USC. Growing up, attending USC football games and hearing about the Marshall School of Business was a norm; so much so that I couldn't imagine attending college anywhere else. Apart from that, the faculty at Marshall as well as the focus on interdisciplinary studies truly made the decision to become a Trojan an easy one. Lastly, the professional network available to students during their time at USC and as alumni is utterly unmatched.

What advice do you wish you had known while applying to college?
Looking back on my college application process, I wish I could have told myself to be more selfish. Choosing a college home is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life, and it's a very personal one. You must apply to schools that truly interest you, and, eventually, pick the university that most closely aligns with your personal goals and with the college experience that you desire. I'm so glad that everything worked out for me to come to USC, but I wish I would have been a bit more selfish during my application process.

What are your USC activities/general hobbies?
I am currently serving as the President of MSA, which is an organization that helps bring the student perspective to prospective Marshall Students. Additionally, I am a member of The FAM, which is USC largest professional and social music industry club. Outside of USC, I love exploring Los Angeles, cycling, and trying new restaurants!

Why do you love Los Angeles?
I have truly found a home in Los Angeles. I love the wide range of activities one can do in this city and, of course, I love the weather! I can't imagine spending my college years anywhere else. Additionally, being interested in Business and the Music Industry, I love that I am studying in the hub of these two industries.

What global experiences have you taken part in at USC? Please list all Marshall International Trips you have attended, include program name(s) and location(s)
I participated in the Trojan Transfer Plan for my freshman year, which allowed me to spend one year studying at The American University of Paris prior to matriculating to USC. I spent that year traveling, taking classes unique to French culture, and admiring the beauty of Paris! It was an unforgettable experience and the most amazing way to begin my college career.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
I utilized the Trojan Network to find my first internship at Position Music, a small record label and publishing company located in Burbank. By utilizing ConnectSC, our networking platform, I have been able to connect with countless Trojan alumni who have given me tremendous insights into my fields of interest. More recently, I used my USC contacts to obtain an internship at Warner Music Group, a company I've always dreamed of working at. I am confident that going forward, the contacts I've made will be integral in helping me realize my career dreams.

What is your favorite USC Marshall Class and why?
My favorite USC Marshall Class has been Fundamental of Entrepreneurship (BAEP 450) with professor Susan Harmeling. This course combines case reading and analysis with frequent conversations with successful entrepreneurs, and it's so much fun!
