
TSP is a 6-week program that helps incoming transfer students maximize their time at USC Marshall and build a community among other transfer students.
Benefits of Joining

Gain access to a community of peers at Marshall that can be a continuous source of support during the program and throughout your time at USC;

Receive personalized assistance in regards to academic and career goals from Marshall staff, including Academic Advisors, Career Advisors, and Marshall faculty;

Be introduced to university resources as you transition into USC Marshall;

And strengthen key skills needed to succeed as a Marshall student and business professional.
Eligibility Requirements

Must be an incoming transfer student at USC Marshall School of Business or Leventhal School of Accounting for fall 2022.

Although open to all transfer students, TSP is intended for students who are historically from underrepresented ethnic and cultural backgrounds, or who identify as first generation (first in their family) to go to college.
- Must complete the online application by Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:59pm PST.
Expectations
- If selected to participate in the program, you must be available to attend all of the sessions* and events noted below (accommodations can be made on a case-by-case basis):
- Fri, August 19, 9am-2pm PST: TSP Welcome
- Tues or Wed, August 23 or 24: Getting Involved
- Tues or Wed, August 30 or 31: Strategies for Success in Marshall Courses
- Tues or Wed, September 6 or 7: Career Planning for Transfers
- Tues or Wed, September 13 or 14: Career Insights in Business
- Tues or Wed, September 20 or 21: Positive Well-Being and Community Building
- Tues or Wed, September 27 or 28: Next Steps
*Please note that all six sessions will occur on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 5:00pm-6:40pm PST (preferably Wednesday evenings, pending room reservations). Please make sure to avoid scheduling classes during this time.
